“ There's a good number of Korean restaurants in the city and this one is my favorite. I really like their side dishes and you can even get refills for them if you're getting the unlimited sampgyupsal. They also sell a lot of different Korean food items inside. ”
“ The Korean pearl in Dumaguete As far as I know there are not many Korean restaurants in Dumaguete and it took me some time to discover this pearl of restaurants. Fish 153 is not only a restaurant, it's also a shop where you can buy Korean specialities. The menu is extensive and it took some time for me to decide between all the dishes. But the menu shows a photo of each dish which was a good help for me. Fish 153 serves a vareity of dishes that appeals to different kinds of tastes. They have fish, pork, beef, vegan, and noodle-based dishes. I chose the classical Korean dish Bibimbap. The portion was big and delicious. I was the only dining guest at the time but there were few others coming in and bought things from the shop. Rating: 1-5 where 1 is terrible and 5 is excellent 4 Food 4 Service 5 Value 3 Atmosphere I have been here a couple of times times early 2017 ”

PRO: Excellent authentic Korean (not sugared up Filipino Korean-inspired), huge menu, included 8+ diverse appetizers. CON: Very basic dining area inside a Korean grocery store. Dirty bathroom. COMMENT: The food is stellar and more than makes up for the basic accommodations. “ It's been awhile since I last ate here - maybe 5 or 6 years ago. Since my partner wanted to have Bibimbap (again), I suggested we eat here. I was craving noodles too and the last time I had was Jjajangmyeon, so I ordered it. I couldn't really remember if I was served Banchan before (except for the pickled radish)... I was just pleasantly surprised that we were served 10 Banchan - this is a very traditional way of having a Korean meal and I really appreciated it. It definitely elevated the experience. Everything was good and I left so full since my partner couldn't finish her food. This place has been around for years and it's evident why the have lasted long. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PS: They have Korean groceries available - you might want to check them out if you need anything. ”
